Star Flex Printing

Star Flex sits in the same PVC banner family as standard flex, just a step up — thicker material, a smoother glossy or matte face depending on what you choose, and it holds ink density and colour noticeably better. It's what we switch to when a banner is staying up for months rather than weeks, or when a design has large solid colour blocks that would otherwise show every roller line on thinner material.

It costs more per square foot, and for a banner going up for a single week, that extra cost doesn't really buy you anything. Where it earns its price is on anything facing the street for an extended run — highway hoardings, building wraps, dealership banners — where it has to survive sun, rain, and the odd pole vibration without curling at the edges or looking washed out by the third month.

It's printed on the same wide-format solvent setup as regular flex, so turnaround isn't slower, only the material cost is higher. If your job doesn't actually need it, we'll say so — a lot of short-run banners genuinely don't.
