Vinyl Printing

Vinyl is the sticky cousin of flex — a self-adhesive sheet we either print directly for full-colour graphics, or cut in solid colour for lettering and logos, then apply straight onto glass, metal shutters, walls, or vehicle panels. Unlike a hanging banner, it has to sit flat against whatever surface it's going on, so prep matters more here — dust, old sticker residue, or a slightly uneven wall all show up in the final result if we don't deal with them first.

We do a lot of this as shopfront branding — glass door lettering, wall logos inside a showroom, vehicle door graphics for delivery vans and fleet cars — and as short-run promotional stickers and floor graphics for events. Application is its own skill: air bubbles under a badly applied sheet look worse than no vinyl at all, so we squeegee it on properly and, for anything on glass or a vehicle, we'll usually come and apply it ourselves rather than just handing over a roll.

Outdoor-grade vinyl holds up several years without peeling when the surface is prepped right — the failures we see are almost always a surface issue, not the vinyl itself giving up.
